_____Go to the START menu, choose ALL PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, and WORDPAD.

_____In a WORDPAD document, type your name, and address.

_____Save this document as yourname_info. Save it to the folder that has your name. Don’t exit.

_____Do a SAVE AS and save another copy of this document. Keep the name the same, but save it to the Computer Technology folder.

_____Close the document.

_____Click on My Computer, and find the Computer Technology folder on the C: drive.

_____Open the copy of yourname_info that is in the Computer Technology folder.

_____Add your phone number to the information that is in the document.

_____Save this as yourname_info_new in the Computer Technology folder. Do not close the file yet.

_____ Save this as yourname_info_new in the folder with your name on it.

_____ Now close the file.

_____ How many files are in the folder with your name on it?_______

_____ How many files are in the Computer Technology folder?_______

_____ Find one of the copies of yourname_info_new, and SINGLE_CLICK to highlight it.

_____ Copy the file to the A: drive.
