_____In the My Computer window, DOUBLE-CLICK on ’Local Disk (C:)’

_____Does the Program Files folder contain a Netscape Navigator folder?_____

_____Does the Program Files folder contain a Microsoft Visual Studio folder?_____

_____MINIMIZE the window for the Program Files folder (instructions below: )

CLICK on the tiny square with the horizontal line in the upper right corner of the window.

_____Click on Program Files at the bottom of the screen to bring it up again.

_____Now, close the Program Files window altogether by clicking n the “X” in the upper right of the window.

____Now, finder the folder More Files on the C: drive.

____DOUBLE-CLICK to open the folder.

____Go to the VIEW menu, and try viewing the files two different ways:

as DETAILS

as ICONS

____Which way (ICONS or DETAILS) shows you the DATE the file was created or modified?_________

____Go to the VIEW menu, choose ARRANGE ICONS BY, and MODIFIED.
