Our logo is the eye.

We are often asked about the meaning of our eye symbol. The "third eye" logo originated from a symbolic story in the great epic Mahabharata. One day, Parvati, the daughter of mountains, playfully covered Lord Shiva's eyes with both her hands without realizing the consequences. Suddenly the whole universe dipped into darkness - the darkness of ignorance. In a matter of seconds Shiva opened up his third eye, bringing back the light of knowledge.

That is what our organization is about... bringing knowledge back, and avoiding the darkness of ignorance. Giving the younger generations of the world an opportunity to experience the magic Indian music and culture possesses is the main goal of SPICMACAY.
