Research Abstract:

Social networking sites are online communities that allow people to display their personal profile to other users. Since their introduction in the 1990's, SNS have become an increasinly popular means of communication, connecting friends, family, and proffesionals all over the world. This project explores the history, growth, and varieties of SNS, and also sheds light on the impacts they have on companies and the global poplulation.
