Each of you has been given an association for librarians or related professionals to research. Please
research your association utlizing your own your growing knowledge of print and electronic reference
sources. At a minimum, your research should include at least one electronic source and at least two sources on the question set bibliography and should address the following issues:

     Basic information about the association, e.g., address (snail mail, email, and, if available, URL);
     membership numbers, criteria, and fees; conferences; etc.
     History of the association
     Purpose, mission, etc. of the association, i.e., why does it exist
     Publications issued by the association and their relevance for working librarians

The results of your research will be shared with the class in a brief presentation about the association.
