The flip of a light switch usually signifies a single light turning on and off in a space. I wanted to challenge the normalcy of a light fixture, by creating and orchestrating an environment where light and the source of light was random and unpredictable. By using nine sources of light at differing heights and tempos, the environment not only changed moods between every millisecond, but also aesthetics. My favorite instance of the installation was how the install environment was either elegantly revealed or masked with each flicker of the light.

A cluster of three light bulbs were attached to a Relay which was then attached to the Micro.Controller. I wanted to program the movement of the lights so that they could be easily orchestrated, yet random at the same time.
