Hi my name is Laura Chen. I am a sophmore at Carngie Mellon University majoring in Information Systems. During this past summer I worked at the Port Washington Water Pollution Control District in Port Washington, NY. My duties there included creating databases for records management using Microft Access, data entry, and the development of the company's website.

I am currently taking two classes that relate to the Information Systems profession, Information Systems Milieux and Organizational Intelligence in the Information Age. My computer skills include knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and basic JAVA.

Outside of academics, my interests include tennis and art. I am a member of the Carnegie Mellon's Women's Varsity Tennis team.
