January 28, 2010 Brothers, Happy new year! With the chapter's rush efforts coming to a close this week it's about that time to begin preparing for Carnival. As I hope you are aware, Carnival is April 15-18, 2010. Preparations are underway by the chapter and alumni and I hope that you can come take part in this annual event. The latest Fall 2009 Delta-Alpha Newsletter is provided via the link above. As we celebrate our 89th yearlet us try to ensure another 89 years by contributing to a place that we can all call home - visit the chapter, encourage the brothers, and help them in the ways that you can. Greek life at Carnegie-Mellon is ever changing. Zeta Beta Tau finally received their charter and are now an official chapter while the chapters of Kappa Delta Rho and Theta Xi are no longer represented on campus. Kappa Kappa Gamma and Delta Delta Delta now reside on "the quad" and Greek expansion is actually being contemplated by the Greek life office. Delta Tau Delta is back at CMU and whispers of Triangle making an entry linger around the halls. As winter fades and Spring approaches, thoughts of Carnival help us look forward to seeing those whom we call our brother. Let us all help the current brothers by displaying, through our actions, what brotherhood is all about. Enjoy the Spring and see you in April. A.E.K.D.B., Robert Bethea
