A little about me
My name is Kenneth Joseph, though I typically go by Kenny. I am a second year Ph. D. student in the Computation, Organization and Society program (COS) at the Institute for Software Research in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University (SCS). This is quite possibly the lengthiest name for a position that you will ever see.
While my "title" at CMU is a mouthful, the position I am in has allowed me to do some pretty interesting stuff. So far, I have focused primarily on how information diffuses throughout a social network. However, I am very interested in how social networks evolve across different media (e.g. Facebook versus email) and how people use these different media to spread information and social support. I am interested in both understanding the properties of real world data and modelling the flow of information and social support in these networks via simulation. When I'm not working, I try to keep myself as busy as possible. I love to exercise and play sports, travel, toy with new technologies, give back where I can, and spend time with family and friends. For more on me, check the personal page.
Finally, due to pressure from sources which will go unnamed, feel free to check out our wedding page, with all the exciting details you could hope for.
