Technical Internship Expo

The Technical Internship Expo (TIE) is a job fair for Carnegie Mellon technical undergraduates. The Expo is primarily focused on introducing students seeking summer internships to those companies providing them. The TIE is an event sponsored by the student chapter of the Society of Women Engineers. The Expo will take place in the Carnegie Mellon University Center Gymnasium Tuesday, January 29th, 2002 from 10AM to 4PM. Go to this web site for more information:

Don't miss your chance to attend Tech Day, 2002! Our first-ever joint job fair with the University of Pittsburgh. Employers will have the chance to see talent from two institutions at one event!

The University of Pittsburgh Placement Career Services and The Carnegie Mellon University Career Center would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate in our FIRST EVER Joint Technology Job Fair! This event is exclusively for Pitt and CMU students majoring or minoring in technically related fields. No Registration or fee necessary. Just show up during fair hours at William Pitt Union with your RESUME in hand that shows you are a CMU or Pitt student with a technical related major or minor.

You will also be eligible to come to the networking reception before the fair, held on Tuesday, January 29th, 2002. There will be a short panel discussion which will focus on tips for breaking into the technical industry and then time to socialize and network with employers who will be at the Fair the next day. The Networking reception will be held from 7-9 pm in Rangos 1 and Rangos 2, University Center on the Carnegie Mellon campus. Light refreshments will be served.
