| Mazatlan: Summary of Trip |
![]() |
|||||
| My trip to Mazatlan was the best ever! I and two of my co-workers from EPQN simply decided, on the spur of the moment, to get out of Los Mochis, and go on a one day excursion to the beautiful coastal city. We took the intercity bus right from Los Mochis to Mazatlan, Although the journey lasted 7 hrs, we were full of energy and looked forward to our time there. |

We decided to travel using TAP (Transportes y Autobuses del Pacifico)
which was supposed
to be more comfortable than the other carriers. The trip lasted 7 hours and we made stops in Culiacan, Nogales and Guasave. Flor and Jose Carlos on the bus --> |

| Upon reaching the city, we initially decided to walk to our hotel, but halfway we changed our minds and rode a "pulmonia" (pictured below) to a new hotel, closer to the beach. ![]() |

![]() Our Hotel was pretty decent, we got a fairly large room with adequate airconditioning (which was a relief!) and the place itself was situated close to the golden zone, right next to the Playa La Gaviotas, supposedly one of the more cleaner beaches. |

Dinner at Tony's Bar & Grill This place was situated right at the corner of one of the main streets in downtown Mazatlan. Although it bore an american name, the food was quintessentially mexican in flavor. The best part came when the band started to play popular mexican songs! |
