I am broadly interested in the design and analysis of learning
algorithms for pattern analysis and recognition.
- Research Interests
Machine Learning: Algorithms for classification, clustering,
dimensionality reduction, discriminant analysis, metric and manifold learning.
Component analysis methods, kernel methods, generative/discriminative models,
information Theory (and its geometric counterpart), and optimization.
Applications: Video Analysis, Peptide Detection and Modeling,
Document Analysis & Recognition, Offline/Online Handwriting Recognition.
