Anyone who accesses it can edit the content
A simplified markup language is used in a web browser
Often used to create collaborative and community websites
Different pages are linked together in an integrated format
Generally, there is no review before modifications are accepted and often appear almost instantly
Many wikis are open to alteration by the general public without requiring them to register user accounts

The encyclopedia Wikipedia is one of the best-known wikis.
