Our Rabbi

Rabbi Anna Rosenfield graduated from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in June 2006 and has served the Beth Samuel Jewish Center since August 2006.  Before and during rabbinical school she worked for the Reconstructionst movement, and has served as a geriatric chaplain, as well as a student rabbi for communities in Punta Gorda, Florida; Flemington, New Jersey; and Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.

Her interests include informal, creative Jewish education; community building and organizing; and Jewish anti-war and human rights activism.  As the daughter of a cantor, Rabbi Anna grew up with a great appreciation for Jewish music and loves to share it with others.  She is currently in training to become a Jewish Spiritual Director.

She is thrilled to serve the Beth Samuel Jewish Center and to become an active part of the greater Pittsburgh Jewish community.
