Purim Carnival and Megillah Reading:
Sunday, March 16 at 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Megillah Reading begins at 9:00; Carnival Begins at 10:00.

Purim is a fun and exciting holiday, and we do it in style. Join us at 9:00 am for a dramatic reading of the Megillah (Book of Esther), complete with noisemakers and audience participation. At 10:00, carnival fun begins. For 2.5 hours, we'll play games, win prizes, eat Hamantaschen and other goodies, and have fun. Come in costume or bring a friend for free game tickets!

  • We need your help to make this year's Carnival even better. Can you donate toys and prizes? Money to buy new game supplies? Or your crafty, word-working know-how? Let us know!
  • Purchase 50-50 Raffle Tickets. In a 50-50 Raffle, half the money from ticket sales is awarded as a cash prize. The other half benefits the Beth Samuel Jewish Center.
  • Buy our homemade Hamantaschen at the fair. We made homemade Hamantaschen in poppyseed, prune, chocolate, strawberry, apricot or blueberry varieties. Bu a few at the Fair as a holiday goodie.
  • Invite others - download the flier! Friends, neighbors, family. We want this to be a community event, and all are welcome.
