Adult Education

The learning is not reserved for children and teens at Beth Samuel. We have an active adult education program. We meet on a variety of days and times to accommodate many schedules.

Jewish Law, History and Philosophy Video Lectures:
Thursdays at 7:30 pm

By popular demand, the video lecture series on Jewish Law, History, and Philosophy continues. These half hour lectures are given by leading contemporary Jewish scholars, and offer something for experienced and beginning learners of Judaism alike.

Hebrew Classes: Prayerbook and Beginners

Learning Hebrew can enhance your understanding and appreciation of services. Rabbi Anna is offering both a Prayerbook Hebrew and Beginning Hebrew class for adults at the synagogue.

Classes are 1 hour in length, and will take place over 10 Tuesdays, from January 29 thru April 29 (no class on 2/19, 3/18, 4/15, and 4/22).

• Beginning Hebrew: 6:15 pm
• Prayerbook Hebrew: 7:30 pm
