Jessica Wisdom

I am a currently a doctoral student in Behavioral Decision Research in the Department of Social and Decision Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University. I received my B.A. in Psychology from Brown University in 2005.

My research interests include consumer judgment and decision making, self control and consumption behaviors, and the application of behavioral economics to public health policy. I am currently working with Julie Downs and George Loewenstein on projects using findings from behavioral economics to design effective policies aimed at combating obesity and, in particular, at promoting healthy eating behaviors.
