Spring Concert 2009
Everyone knows that Christians believe that God created the world and that He is calling us to return to Him one day, but what about everything in between?

Fall Retreat 2008

'Twas the night before the concert...
May 1, 2009

And what an amazing semester it has been! We have seen God work in marvelous ways in our lives and have been encouraged to share our music with the campus and the community. We've been able to begin a relationship with the First United Presbyterian Church of Crafton Heights, which brought us to their Palm Sunday worship service and on a tour of the rivers of Pittsburgh. We also visited the Residence on Fifth for our second afternoon of music of the year. Among other on-campus gigs have been our first No Instruments Aloud (hosted by The Originals), our second Gallery Night (hosted by Intervarsity), and our annual performance at Carnival.

For the first time in three years, we had the rare opportunity to network with other Christian a cappella groups from around the northeast region... at GospelJam 2009! We spent the weekend on the road, in a parsonage, and all over Ithaca with the groups (you can find the links to their websites on our Mission page). Saturday was a day full of sharing strategies, networking, praise, and encouragement which culminated in an eight-group evening concert which culminated in an all-group song! We left the weekend refreshed and excited for the task at hand - an April full of gigs leading up to our Spring Concert.

Through prayer and so much rehearsal, we are ready to give you a message. What happens in between the creaton and our rest in heaven? This and more we will explore at our Spring Concert tomorrow in MM 103!

Godspeed!
