I am currently a graduate student in the Physics Department of Carnegie Mellon University. My research field is biophysics, specializing in membrane functionality. Up to now, I have worked on several different projects. The main ones are listed below:

• Investigating how the temperature affects the membrane structural and mechanical properties,including the bilayer thickness, area per lipid, bending rigidity and interaction between bilayers.
     
• Looking into how PC lipids with different amounts of saturated chains behave under the influence of cholesterol.
     
• Examing the status of the antimicrobial peptide alamethicin with different concentrations in the lipid membrane. This is a collaborating project with simulators.
     
• Comparing the different modifications on membrane properties caused by the CRAC motif peptide and its isomer.
