KOH above a Platinum electrode

 

This is a repulsive system when looking at the phase angle and doublet trajectories.

The first video shows separation.  The particles seem to go to a highly space hexagonal array.  The second video has the same field strength, just a higher density of particles.  3-D worms are formed when the field is turned on.
