Song Shen, Yongjie Zhang, Debao Li, Zhaochang Zheng Experiment and Analysis on Refrigerator Vibration Reduction and Noise Control Experimental methods for measuring refrigerator vibration and noise, including vibration frequency spectrum analysis, modal analysis, noise standard test, noise frequency spectrum analysis and sound intensity detecting, are discussed. By using these methods, the source and location which are essential for refrigerator's noise and vibration can be identified. Through investigation, it has been proved that selecting proper stiffness and damping parameters for the compressor top cover, adjusting the installation of compressor, and empolying soundproof materials are all effective ways for refrigerator noise control.
