Some stuff from forever ago.
| V2HDL: Visual VHDL | 2007-2008 | Senior Design Project | Visual VHDL (V2HDL) is a visualization tool for VHDL (a hardware design language), meant to ease the creation and learning of hardware design logic in Systems Architecture classes. |
| Zookalyze | Summer 2007 | Research Project | Zookalyze is a tool to analyze 1000s of XML files outputted by the CBBC's BAMZOOKi computer game. By analyzing design rationale output provided by this simplified design environment, we hope to gain knowledge of design rationale in order to create an engineering "helper" to automatically aide in the design of engineering products. My contributions were briefly mentioned in Learning with Games Conference 2007: "CBBC BAMZOOKi as a Tool for Engineering Design Research". An abstract of this work can be found at OurCS: "Automating Design Rationale Capture". |
| Math Football | December 2006 | Educational Games Class Project | A simple math football game which asks percentage questions to move the football down the field. There is a known error in one of the questions... |
| Robot Classification for Urban Search and Rescue | Summer 2006 | NIST SURF Summer Project | I added concepts to a robot ontology. The end purpose was to create a knowledge base that urban search and rescue workers could query in order to find the robot(s) that fit the desired purpose and conditions of a particular situation. I believe the original project is described in ACM: "A Robot Ontology for Urban Search and Rescue". |
| Letters from Abroad: Bogazkale, Turkey | December 2005 | University Newspaper Article | A short article about a trip I took to a rural town a few hours' drive from Ankara, Turkey while I was on study abroad. |
| Batman Virtual Pest | Fall 03 | Final Class Project | This was part of a project for my Intro to CS class. The regular expressions, second set of 'activity' images, etc. were extra credit. This project was voted best of my lab section. |
| Song-maker | Fall 03 | Class Assignment | A simple extra credit assignment enhancing skills with Javascript forms. |
