*All proceeds from the charity tickets will go to Association for India's Development (AID)'s relief efforts for the 'Karnataka/AP flood victims'. AID Pittsburgh's current efforts are directed toward helping with relief in 29-30 villages in Raichur district of Karnataka. AID has been working with a Dalit Women's Collective (called Jagrutha Mahila Sanghatan) that operates in these villages. The relief funds collected will go to support the needs of villagers who are part of this collective, and are flood victims. Visit www.aidindia.org for more information.

- Pickup from CMU University Center Turnaround (5032 Forbes Avenue) at 10:00 am and back by 2:00 pm

IGSA Board Elections

The election would be for the positions of President, Vice- President (program chair), General Secretary, Treasurer, FundRaising/PR Chair and Membership Chair.Executive committee members and department representatives will be appointed.
Light snack will be served before elections and a recent Hindi movie will be screened after the elections.

Hosts (Students willing to Accommodate New Students for Few Days):Like the start of every semester, new students are coming to CMU and we want to come together to host these new students.

As it is spring, we are not expecting a huge rush of students but still we do have some requests from incoming students. Most of the students will require temporary accommodation in between January 5 and January 20 for around 3-4 days.
