Why IGSA ? |

The constitution of IGSA mentions the following purpose of IGSA
- To provide a forum for Indian Graduate students to meet and present their views
- To unite students from India and other nationalities by celebrating and learning from cultural diversity on campus
- To act as a conduit for Indian students to experience the rich culture of America and encourage cultural exchange
- To co-ordinate with other organizations on campus and in Pittsburgh to organize events of mutual interest
- To organize get-togethers and fun events for graduate student holidays; arrange information sessions regarding academics/jobs; and welcome and guide the new graduate students

How can I participate? |
| A |
You can participate in multiple ways
- By attending IGSA organized events
- By responding to call for volunteers from IGSA on various occasions like for organizing events, hosting new students
- As department representative. If you think your department is not represented in the officers, please mail us.
- We also welcome you to take initiative and formulate an event/activity. We would work with you on the IGSA platform to make the event happen.
