Once Kaija's biopsy results came back showing osteosarcoma, she had to have her leg amputated in late October. But Kaija was ready to face the world in time for one of her favorite holidays--Halloween. She absolutely LOVES to greet kids at the door. This year was no exception. Here you see Kaija on Halloween night. For a few weeks after her amputation, she wore a socklet that held a cushion pad in place over her incision.
