As a team of three people, we created a mobile application for the elderly that notifies them of the locations of their nearby friends. This allows them to meet with each other rather in an opportunistic manner through which they can reinforce their social relationships. We first crafted a persona to quickly target the user group and to specifiy their needs and goals and created a scenario to communicate the possible use of the application. Scenario
After shopping in a mall, Cara realizes that it’s already lunch time. She is too hungray to wait until she gets home for eating.
 | So she goes through the list of friends and finds out Jim is in the mall next to where she is. |  | Cara calls him and finds out he also needs to have lunch. So She walks over to where he is and meets with him. |  |
The map shows Liz and Mary are also nearby, so she decides to invite them to lunch. |
