Purpose: The CBC's Case Clearinghouse & Library was established to identify, catalog, and--in select instances--publish or distribute business case studies that communication faculty can use in MBA and undergraduate communication courses. While there are numerous case-method materials available from business schools, the number of cases focusing on issues from a communication perspective or allowing students to deliver a communication product remains limited. This case clearinghouse and library seeks to provide communication faculty with a collection of cases that simulate management situations, focus on management communication issues, require readers to develop rhetorical solutions, and result in sophisticated oral or written communication products.
Project Activities: One of the CBC's project activities involves facilitating the research, development and publication of a series of communication cases and distributing them to business communication faculty for use with students via the CBC On-line Clearinghouse & Library.
Contributing Cases: If you would like to see a case added to this collection, or if you would like the CBC to publish and distribute a case that you authored, contact the director of the CBC.
