  • Dr. Haijun Gong's research interests are within Bioinformatics, Model Checking, Machine Learning and Statistics. He is particularly interested in developing and applying Machine Learning, Statistics and Model Checking techniques for the analysis of high-throughput biological data and model verification of signaling pathways and gene regulatory network.

  • He is currently working on the Model Checking and Systems Biology of Pancreatic Cancer project supervised by Professor Edmund Clarke (2007 Turing Award) .

  • He received Ph.D. in Physics (Computational Biology Training) at Carnegie Mellon University in August 2009 advised by Professors Russell Schwartz and Michael Widom . He also received a Master degree in Statistics in May 2008 and finished all the Machine Learning core courses. I am currently looking for a tenure-track faculty position or a research-oriented company position. CV
