In Fall 2008, I taught junior-level Engineering Optimization (ISyE 3133) course in the School of H. Milton Stewart Industrial and Systems Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology. This course teaches an introduction to optimization methods, focusing on modeling, fundamentals of linear, integer, and nonlinear programming, network flows and large-scale problem solving using a variety of software tools.
During my masters and bachelors in Turkey, I had the opportunity to be the teaching assistant for many industrial engineering classes at Industial Engineering department, Middle East Technical University. My responsibilities included: Leading weekly recitations and labs, holding office hours, mentoring senior level undergraduate student assistants, preparing and grading exams, homework assignments, case studies and projects.
