Biography
I graduated from Messiah College in 2007 with a BA in Literature and a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies. For the past year, I worked at the Hawaii Coral Reef Initiative, where I was part of a team writing and editing a K-2 curriculum focused on Hawaii’s coral reefs. The work helped me realize not only that I want to pursue writing as a career, but also that I would like to work in the non-profit sector. In pursuit of these goals, I came to Carnegie Mellon, where I am currently in the MA in Professional Writing program.
