After toiling at an ice-cream shop for a (delicious) summer, I spent my cold hard cash-money-dollars on an M-Audio Firewire interface and Sennheiser studio headphones. I was still deeply into Post-Rock and minimalist music and, of course, my Line 6 Echo Park. Drawing from these inspirations, I recorded a new song. Sixteen tracks of guitar, 1 extra GB of RAM, and countless plugins later, I ended up with Surfaced Euphoric. I cannot put to words how much I love the automation power of Apple Logic Express. |
