Sunday, June 13

08:00 - 19:00: Registration and check-in will be available in Mudge House at the summer office of Conference Services. 

15:00 - 18:00: Registration and check-in will also be available in New House lobby. 

18:00 - 21:00: Welcoming reception/mixer in New House lobby. 

Monday, June 14

07:30 - 9:00: breakfast in Shatz Dining Room in University Center, located one level above the ground floor in the southwest corner of the building.  Provided you are wearing your conference name badge, there will be no charges owing. 

09:00 - 18:00: technical sessions will be held at Adamson Wing Auditorium in Baker Hall.  Enter east end of Baker hall on the ground floor.  You will find the entrance to the Adamson Wing about halfway along the length of the corridor.  The auditorium is located one level below the ground floor. 

12:30 - 14:00: lunch in Shatz Dining Room.  A variety of lunch choices (hot entrees, soup and salad bar, sandwiches and desserts) will be offered and your choice will be recorded (after you are seated) on a sheet which must be handed in at the cash register on leaving the dining room.  Provided you are wearing your conference name badge, there will be no charges owing. 

18:00 - 21:00: poster session with reception in foyer of College of Fine Arts. 

Tuesday, June 15

07:30 - 9:00: breakfast in Shatz Dining Room

09:00 - 18:00: technical sessions will be held at Adamson Wing Auditorium

12:30 - 14:00: lunch in Shatz Dining Room

18:30 - 21:00: dinner at a restaurant overlooking the city.  Buses will begin leaving from New House at 18:00 for Mount Washington where we will dine at LeMont (1114 Grandview Avenue, phone 412-431-3100) . Weather permitting , there will be spectacular views of Pittsburgh at night (photo on homepage was taken from Mt. Washington; more photos can be found at LeMont's homepage).  A short walk along the street from LeMont is a working museum -- one of only two remaining examples of the funicular railways that transported Pittsburgh workers to the glass and steel mills. Pictures of Pittsburgh in earlier days are displayed there.  Admission is free but a small charge is made to ride the railway.  Drinks will commence at 18.30 pm and the meal will start at 19.30 pm.  Buses will depart from the restaurant for New House from 21.30 pm.  Dress is neat casual.

Wednesday, June 16

07:30 - 9:00: breakfast in Shatz Dining Room in University Center

09:00 - 18:00: technical sessions will be held at Adamson Wing Auditorium

12:30 - 14:00: lunch in Shatz Dining Room

18:30 - 21:00: conference banquet will be held in the grand foyer of Carnegie Music Hall.  The venue is an easy 5-10 minute stroll down Forbes Avenue west from campus.  Drinks and hor d'oevres will commence at 18:30 on the Music Hall Balcony and the dinner in the Music Hall will commence at 19:30.  Dessert will be served while we stroll through the dinosaur exhibition .

Thursday, June 17

07:30 - 9:00: breakfast in Shatz Dining Room in University Center

09:00 - 17:00: technical sessions will be held at Adamson Wing Auditorium

12:30 - 14:00: lunch in Shatz Dining Room
