Research Topic Abstract

Copyright Law, is a type of protection provided by the US and many other countries, that provides authors and publishers with the rights to both their published and unpublished works. Copyrights and patents are instituted so that no one can steal your own original work and call it their own. However, as technology evolves, the strict rules of the 1976 Copyright Act begin to blur, as the world evolves beyond the written world into streaming video and the internet.
