Welcome to the Snaxz Team Website

We are a team of four Carnegie Mellon University students creating a short 3D movie entitled Snaxz for 60-414/15-465 Advanced ETB: Animation Art and Technology.

Snaxz is a story about a humanoid, N'10'na, being who is returning home from work. N'10'na can change his physical appearance by moving a dial on his chest up and down - dialed up and N'10'na becomes a more professional, stronger, more formal body-type ready for work. Dialed down N'10'na becomes a relaxed, plushy being with a slight beer belly.

N'10'na is carrying with him many boxes of his favorite meal, Snaxz. He loads them into his refridgerator and grabs one to munch on while watching TV. But N'10'na finds opening his Snaxz more than a challenge...

Here is our first Animatic!

It is done in Maya with our preliminary models. These models are not rigged or textured; it is just giving a sense of what the camera angles would be, and it also acts as a reference to the production of the final animation.
