Biography
I completed my undergraduate degree at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, where I received a BA in both History and Religious Studies, with minors in English Literature, Catholic Studies, and Honors. While I was not able to take any writing courses during my undergraduate years, I did complete and defend a thesis within the History major, which I will be submitting to the Phi Alpha Theta quarterly publication The Historian in the coming months. I also worked as a tutor for the history department, a job in which I helped other undergraduate students with interpretation of historical documents as well as with the structure and editing of academic papers. My interests lie in book editing and publishing, as well as in academic and non – fiction writing. Although I have never had any professional experience in these fields, I have always been a natural copy editor, as I am able to immediately pick out both typographical and structural errors in all written work. I hope to be able to work in the book publishing industry as well as write and publish for academics, possibly within the field of history.
