Welcome to Chacha's World

Hi There: I am Chuang Wu, a PHD student of Program of Computational Biology My advisor is Prof. Roni Rosenfeld and my office is at Newell-Simon Hall.

Research Interests

Computational Learning Theory

Learning Disjunctive Normal Form from Examples.

Gattaca

Given lots of data, both medical practice and biomedical research can be revolutionized.

Previous Research

I have been doing Bioinformatics, particularly in "Computational Network Biology", an area also directly associated to "Computational Systems Biology". The goal is to understand how the biological systems work together to execute physiological functions by the language of networks. The methods I am using include Machine Learning, Graph Theory, and Statistics.

The networks I have studies include the topological analysis of transcription regulatory networks, protein-protein interaction network, and Protein complex data. An effort of integration of different kinds of networks has started.
