   Born in Bristol, Pennsylvania in 1978, Cara Erskine was raised
all over the United States, spending her formative years in California,
Oregon, and Colorado, where light, storms, and the expansive
landscape were a profound visual influence.

    In November 2009, her recent works on paper will be featured
in a solo exhibition at the Clayman Institute for Gender Research,
Stanford University, Stanford, California. In January 2010, she
opens a solo exhibition of new paintings at the Moreau Galleries,
Saint Mary's College, in South Bend, Indiana.

   Cara recently started a blog about color. To ensure optimum
