(5/24/2006) Jon and I went for a hike at King's Gap. On the way up, I took this lovely picture of the Springtime forest on the South side of North mountain. Isn't the mountain laurel beautiful?

(5/24/2006) After taking a slight detour across a very disused path, we found ourselves in an unusual location on the North side of North mountain, where I got this great picture while standing in a treacherously steep slope upwards.

(5/24/2006) This picture is more of an "inside joke". We found a very old tree that was hollow at the bottom, and wondering what the inside of this tree was like I aimed my camera up inside of it. This is what it looked like. Astonishing!
