Final Exam ReviewAn outline of topics covered in the course, formulae I think are important, a collection of review problems and strategies I find helpful. While this is not a substitute for a semester of understanding and I cannot guarantee that this will cover everything on the final (for that, please refer to lecture notes provided by Dr. Schumacher), it is likely to refresh your memory and get you into good shape for the final exam.

Errors:

  • Please note that E = (resistivity) J, not J = (resistivity) E is the correct equation for ohmic conductors. Thanks to SP for pointing out this error.
  • The Coulomb's Law review problems are from Recitation 4, not Recitation 3. Thanks to JE for pointing out this error.
  • The example from the Waves section should read Recitation 27 (first problem on second page), not Recitation 27 (first problem).
