We invite you to attend the first Cook's Collegium in the Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands on Saturday, November 13, 2004 at the Mt. Lebanon Christian Church, Cedar Boulevard at Hollycrest, Mt. Lebanon, PA 15228.

The day will be filled with classes on feast, food, period cookery, spices and all other things that would interest cooks! Cooks are invited to bring their favourite recipes to share with others. There will be an A&S Display and a Subtlety Competition, judged by THL Myfanwy ferch Rhiannon. There will be an all day sideboard orchestrated by Lady Illadore de Bedegrayne and limited to 125 gentles.

The site is Mt. Lebanon Christian Church, Cedar Boulevard at Hollycrest, Mt. Lebanon, PA 15228 (map). The site is bone dry, no alcohol allowed. Smoking in designated outdoor areas only, please. The site opens to the populace at 10:00 a.m. and closes at 7:00 p.m. Cookery Merchants are most welcome. The cost for this event is $12.00, which includes the all day sideboard. There is no off or out board for this event. Children ages 6-18 are $7.00, and children 5 and younger are free. The Non-Member surcharge is applicable for this event for non-members over the age of 18. It will be collected at troll.

From the North:
Take I-79 South to I-279 South into Pittsburgh. This is "old exit 21" and is 2 exits past the PA Turnpike exit. Follow I-279 South into Pittsburgh. Follow I-279 south to the Route 65/West End Bridge exit. Cross the West End Bridge and follow signs for Route 51 South around the West End Circle. Follow signs for I-279 south/Airport. Immediately after taking the Rt. 279 ramp will be a ramp for Banksville Road, aka Rt. 19 South. Follow Banksville to the 5th light at the Gulf station and bear right onto Beverly Road (still Rt. 19). At the third light (bottom of the hill at another Gulf station), turn right onto Cedar Blvd. Mt. Lebanon Christian Church is one long block up on the left. Parking is on the street.

From the East:
Take I-76 West to I-376 West (exit 6 - Pittsburgh). Get onto I-376 west towards Pittsburgh. Pass through the Squirrel Hill tunnel and continue past the next 3 exits, staying in the right-hand lane. This lane turns into Exit 2B, Blvd of the Allies. Follow the Blvd of the Allies to the Liberty Bridge, which will be in the left-hand lane. Please be careful going around the curve, the mileage sign means business. Cross the Liberty Bridge in the right-hand lane to go through the Liberty Tunnel in the right lane. Immediately after the tunnel, turn right onto Rt. 51 North. Take 51 North, following signs for Rt. 279 South. Rt. 279-South will be a left-hand exit. Immediately after taking the Rt. 279 ramp will be a right-hand ramp for Banksville Road. Follow the signs around to the left onto Banksville Road, aka Rt. 19 South. Follow Banksville to the 5th light at the Gulf station and bear right onto Beverly Road (still Rt. 19). At the third light (bottom of the hill at another Gulf station), turn right onto Cedar Blvd. Mt. Lebanon Christian Church is one long block up on the left. Parking is on the street.

From the South:
Take I-79 North to I-279 North towards Pittsburgh. At the crest of the steep hill, take the Greentree Road exit and turn right at the top of the ramp. Follow Greentree Road 2.5 miles until it ends and turn left onto Cochran Road. Follow Cochran to the 6th traffic light (at the bottom of the hill at the Gulf Station) and turn right onto Cedar Blvd. Mt. Lebanon Christian Church is one long block up on the left. Parking is on the street.
