I am now a senior research scientist at United Technologies Research Center. I was a Ph.D.Candidate and Adjunct Instructor of Center for Building Performance and Diagnostics, School of Architecture, Carnegie Mellon University. My PhD thesis focuses on the
Integrated Building Heating, Cooling and Ventilation Control advised by Professor Khee Poh Lam and Professor Burcu Akinci (CEE) and Professor Charles Neuman (ECE).
In my PhD thesis, I'm studying Radiant Floor Heating, Fan Coil Cooling, Mix-Mode and Natural Ventilation, Environmental Sensor Network, Occupancy Behaviour Pattern, Short-term Weather Forecasting and Optimal Control. My experiment set up is here
In addition, I'm also working on several energy consulting projects with NBBJ.
