"Dear Friend,

The Committee for Peace in the Middle East invites you to join us in a peaceful rally on Tuesday October 1st, 2002, to protest Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Pittsburgh and Israel's oppressive policies towards the Palestinian people.

Please gather next to the Agnes Katz Plaza on Penn Ave and 7th St at 6:30pm. The rally will be at 7pm in front of Heinz Hall on 6th St between Liberty Ave and Penn Ave.

Raising awareness to the struggle of the Palestinian people is long overdue. Why do we continue to turn a blind eye to the unjustifiable actions of the Israeli government? By being indifferent, we are silently supporting these actions. Let's not repeat our mistakes of the past - the time for us to act is now.

In Peace,

The Committee for Peace in the Middle East"
