MADD

Mothers Against Drunk Driving


The mission of MADD is to stop drunk driving and to support victims of this violent crime. MADD tends to this mission through the help of its volunteers by working on Youth Education, Public Awareness, Victim Support Services, and positive legislation. Programs throughout the year include: Project Red Ribbon, Candlelight Vigil, "Keep It A Safe Summer" (KISS), and Youth Conference.

Service Opportunities:

  • Special Events:To participate in and help organize events throughout the year to promote public awareness.
    Note: A number of one-time opportunities are available.
  • Victim advocates: To assist victims of drunk driving crashes through referral sources, victim support groups, distribution of literature, court accompaniment, or answering calls at the chapter office.
  • Speakers Bureau:To speak to professional, civic, and youth groups about the efforts of MADD and the crime of drinking and driving.
