Best Buddies: Matches a student and a person with mental retardation for a one-to-one relationship
Big Brothers/Big Sisters: Match adults of various backgrounds one-one-one with local children
CMU-Emergency Medical Service: Provides emergency medical service to the campus community
Community Literacy Center: Works with local teens on writing and public speaking skills to encourage self-esteem
Doctors of Carnegie: Students interested in the medical field can volunteer at local medical facilities
East End Tutors: CMU students tutor elemenatry, middle school and high school students in various subjects
Habitat for Humanity: Students volunteer to help rehabilitate houses for low-income families
Pugwash: Local branch of an international organization offering a form for discussion of the repercussions of science and technology on campus
Student Environmental Action Coalition: Promotes environmental responsiblity and awareness.
Student Role Modes: Students act as role models for local children from the community to assist in providing social and self-development skills
Volunteer Babysitting Network: Enables CMU student-parents to provde for part of their childcare needs
