Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force

The Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force (PATF) was formed in 1985, in response to the need for social support services and information in the unfolding AIDS crisis. PATF is an organization for all people affected by HIV/AIDS, and all those who are moved to respond. This includes both males and females of all races, religions and affectional preferences. PATF works closely with county and state health officials, the state's Secretary of Health and Govenor's staff, and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to focus attention on the most pressing issues raised by HIV/AIDS.
