    This database provides comprehensive access to U.S. legislative information. It includes laws and regulations, proposed and recent bills, bill tracking, testimony, legislative histories, the Congressional Record, campaign contribution data, and more. Documents are available in full-text; the years of coverage vary by document type. In addition, microfiche copies of documents are available in Hunt Reference from 1977 to the present.

    An excellent place to begin research on current topics, this weekly publication covers current and controversial issues of the day with summaries, differing viewpoints on the issues, bibliographies, and more. Users may browse through articles in the current issue or search for past articles using words, dates, or other criteria.

    Founded in 1920, the NBER is a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization dedicated to promoting a greater understanding of how the economy works. Research is conducted by more than 500 university professors around the country.
  • Policy Experts (Heritage Foundation)
    A searchable database of the conservative movement, the site presents information on over 300 public policy organizations in the U.S. Both national and state organizations are included with links to most organizations.
  • PolicySite
    PolicySite is a non-partisan project to promote greater understanding of significant U.S. public policy issues and a more informed public debate. It does not advocate positions but attempts to facilitate access to a balanced and representative sample of perspectives on major areas of public policy. Issues are framed by identifying the arguments of opposing sides and then linking users to the organizations and institutions that are part of the debate.
