Anandarup joined Cisco four years ago in the Service Provider Routing Technology Group and has been instrumental in various ASIC/FPGA architecture and designs for the core and edge routing platform. Prior to Cisco, Anandarup held technical leadership role at Sun Microsystems in designing memory controller ASICs for the multi-thread multi-core processor families. He has also been involved with several technology startup companies through various stages of their evolution. Anandarup was one of the founding members of Azanda Network Devices, later acquired by Cortina Systems. He was also part of an elite team of researchers at Precision I/O, a startup funded by Judy Estrin, ex-Cisco CTO. Earlier in his career, Anandarup has worked at National Semiconductor and has done consulting at Xilinx and LSI Logic.
Anandarup holds a BS in Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur and currently pursuing his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
