Pre-Recruitment

_So you've just gotten back to school and you're not sure whether or not you want to go through FMR. While all the Panhellenic organizations on campus highly recommend going through recruitment even if you're only remotely considering Greek Life, going Greek can be a big decision. To help you out, we host several pre-recruitment events leading up to FMR. All of these events are free to attend and open to everyone, so swing by and check them out!

Alpha Chi Omega Membership Criteria

Potential new members of Alpha Chi Omega should display our five Membership Criteria: Academic Interest, Character, Leadership Ability, Financial Responsibility, and Personal Development. At Carnegie Mellon, we also ask that our members uphold a 2.5 GPA.

Formal Membership Recruitment

_If you are interested in joining Alpha Chi Omega, please participate in Formal Membership Recruitment (FMR). During this recruitment week in the fall semester you will be able to learn more about our house, sisters, and traditions, as well as those of the other National Panhellenic Conference sororities at Carnegie Mellon: Alpha Phi, Delta Gamma, Delta Delta Delta, Kappa Alpha Theta, and Kappa Kappa Gamma.

FMR is open to all women on campus and registration can be found on the Panhellenic Council's website. Click here to register for FMR. For more information please contact our Vice President of Recruitment, Katherine Forsyth (ksforsyt at andrew).
