the future of water

I worked in a team of five to compete in the AIGA 2008 Aspen Design Challenge: Designing Water's Future. Our group decided to tackle the problem of pharmaceuticals in drinking water. After much research, we learned that the answer to this problem was not another product. The solution would require widespread organizational and political change—and the first step was awareness.

My particular contributions included helping in research, competitive analysis, interviewing experts, contextual analysis, writing content and proposals, and designing presentations. I am particularly proud of our final process documentation, which was two long posters that folded accordian-style into a book. I designed, printed, and trimmed the process book and it is a thorough record of our design research and generative work on this project.
