Annual Food & Clothing Drive - Pictures coming soon!
Thanks for your generous gifts! Rotaract's faithful members
and local residents donated 150 large bags of food and clothing
to Three Rivers Youth - a non-profit charity dedicated to
helping the neglected, abused, and homeless children of Pittsburgh
and their familties. The generosity of you and people like
you in this past November have touched many families in the
area.
Ducky Derby 2003
The Ducky Derby is a fundraising event in which over 50 Rotary
Clubs from District 7300 converge on the Seventh Street Bridge
in downtown Pittsburgh to set 30,000 rubber ducks on a journey
to the finish line! Each duck is sponsored by an area company
to benefit the local projects and many of charities that Rotary
International Foundation supports.
K-9 Fundraiser
In need of a K-9 dog, Rotaract Club members and Rotary Club
members converged at this fundraising lunch to aid a police
department.
Valentine's Day Fundraiser 2003
Ribboned Roses were made by Rotaract Club members to raise
money for charitable causes. This first annual event was made
successful by you! $300 dollars was contributed to help transport
books to Rwanda to support the first public library in the
history of their country.
3rd Annual Food and Clothing
Drive
Every year, Rotaract asks its members and local community
to donate non-perishable food items and clothing to a charitable
organization in the Pittsburgh area.
Rotary Luncheons
As a member of the Rotaract Club, each person is allowed the
opportunity to have lunch with the Downtown Rotary Club to
meet the influential members of the Pittsburgh community.
This is a great opportunity to further your understanding
of the Rotary Club organization and to become a more informed
Pittsburgher.
